Home Computing Initiative Supports Flexible Working at SEPA

Overview The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) is the public body responsible for environmental protection in Scotland. Given the importance of computer literacy within the workforce, SEPA recognises that technology in the home can help people acquire and develop skills that are relevant to their jobs. Furthermore, since home computers are used increasingly for work purposes, the organisation has an interest in ensuring that technology purchased by its employees for private use is of the highest possible standard. In light of these needs, the UK Government's Home Computing Initiative (HCI) scheme was very attractive to SEPA.
