Fixed-Point Modeling Using Simulink & the Signal Processing Blockset (UWB)

Overview Simulink, when combined with the Signal Processing Blockset, enables engineers to quickly and effectively create bit-accurate product-level and algorithm-level specifications. This webinar will explore finite word length effects on system performance and other design trade-offs when moving from floating-point to fixed-point data types. Using an application example based on the upcoming Ultra WideBand (UWB) wireless technology standard, the webcast explores the affect of finite word lengths on Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) and frequency domain equalization.
