HAANSOFT Accelerates Linux Adoption With Intel Processor-Based Platforms
Overview As a government agency, the Beijing Zhongguancun (Haidian) Science Park Administrative Committee (BZHSPAC) deals mainly with administrative affairs where there is a large volume of documentation and an extensive paper trail. The need to establish a paperless office environment was in high demand, especially considering that the BZHSPAC serves a high-tech community. The BZHSPAC began to develop a unified platform for office automation. The project was managed by Zhonghaijiyuan, which was responsible for shaping the overall IT strategy. After much evaluation, the Linux operating system from Red Flag Software was selected.
