Despite having many excellent teachers and good students, the First Middle School of Tongshan County in Hubei risks losing their competitive edge if Information Technology (IT) is not integrated into the school syllabus. Hence, they deployed an Intel processor-based solution running the Linux Operating System (OS) to provide digital teaching tools on campus. 80 networked computers running Intel Pentium 4 processors are used by teachers for class preparation. 310 computers running on Intel Celeron Processors provide students with a seven fold increase in uptime.
