Overview
The Cisco Security Agent (CSA) enforces enterprise security policies by controlling individual workstations. This sample chapter, taken from Cisco Press' Cisco Security Agent, provides a general overviews of CSA Agent software components, briefly covers Agent protocol communication, and walks you though various installation methods.
Tables 6-1, 6-2, and 6-3 are a nice quick reference as they outline the installation requirements for Windows, Solaris, and Linux systems respectively. The chapter's most helpful sections cover Agent Kits and their various installation methods. The chapter's step-by-step instructions and screenshots walk you through installation on Windows, Solaris, and Linux systems.
