Overview
Southern California Water Company (SCWC), a subsidiary of the American States Water Company, is a public utility company engaged principally in the purchase, production, distribution, and sale of water to over 240,000 customers. SCWC wanted to replace their existing technology base with a more powerful, economical and reliable platform for internal operations and administration. Working together with Intel Premier Provider - GST of Brea, California, they implemented a new environment of customer service and responsiveness, with over 60 new workstations companywide, based on powerful, reliable Intel Pentium 4 processors supporting Hyper-Threading Technology, for an industry in which downtime is a constant challenge.
