Overview This paper describes how business users and analysts can drive the requirement definition process, starting with Borland's CaliberRM, to create and manage requirements. Use case definition, using the Rational Rose UML modeling tool included with the Borland Enterprise Studio, is the next stage of the process and is driven by the requirements. The integration of CaliberRM with Rational Rose makes requirement information readily available to the design and development team responsible for creating design models and developing source code. The integration also enables traceability to be established between requirements and design artifacts for more effective impact analysis.
