Managed Security Services: from monitoring to response

Overview After five years of managing the CERT-IST (*) for strategic accounts such as France Telecom, Sanofi-Aventis and the CNES, Alcatel is today designing, in cooperation with these strategic customers, an evolved set of Managed Security Services (MSS) to improve further customer protection against cyber-criminality and viruses.

This innovative set of MSS is based on 24/7 security monitoring, with Service Level Agreements, threat management, and a crisis response hub. The efficiency of the crisis response hub has already been proven during the propagation of the Zotob virus (August 2005), when pilot customers could check in real time the benefits of Alcatel's assistance.
