Anti-Spyware Solutions Technology Report: eTrust PestPatrol Anti-Spyware Corporate Edition

Overview When discussing and evaluating anti-spyware products, the most immediate difficulty is that there is little agreed definition of spyware, and little agreement as to whether a given sample is or is not spyware. Groups such as the Anti-Spyware Coalition (ASC) are now attempting to define the various spyware classifications, looking not just at how the malware in question works but also at the methods used to analyze it.
