ActiveMerchant Getting Started

Overview This paper is designed to assist a merchant to perform a test 3-D Secure transaction using the ActiveMerchant Standard software, the ActiveMerchant "Test Merchant" and a "Test Bank" running in GPayments' 3-D Secure Test Facility. This test 3-D Secure transaction does not require the use of a real credit card number, which is enrolled in the Visa 3-D Secure program, and it does not send any payment transactions to an acquirer for authorization. It simply allows a merchant to get a feel for what is involved in upgrading their eCommerce site to support Visa 3-D Secure ("Verified by Visa") using ActiveMerchant.
