The Renewal of ITIL
Overview In November, 2004, the OGC, owners of ITIL announced its plans for a six month project to scope the refresh of ITIL Best Practices. The objective of the refresh is to update the guidance to reflect changes in IT Service and the evolving industry, and to help business and ITSM professional's better implement, use and improve their best practices. The need for a global scale consultation with ITSM industry leadership is a key success factor for the renewal of ITIL.
