Partners in IT Case Study: Steria

Overview Steria provides IT services to the British Army, playing a key role as the MOD transitions to an integrated and centralised IT infrastructure, designed to provide the armed forces with "information any time, any place, anywhere". In early 2003, the Steria service support team faced a blank canvas - an empty building without even the basic facilities needed for an IT support infrastructure. Steria's challenge to Partners in IT was clear, to transform Steria's vision of an end to end process into a fully functioning ITIL compliant Service Management tool - in just three months! Partners was chosen because they specialised in service management and HP OpenView, so Steria knew that Partners had the right skills and despite the aggressive timetable, they rose to the challenge.
