HP Case Study: SoftBank BB

Overview As part of the SoftBank Group, SoftBank BB provides ISP services and the ADSL-related products and services. Faced with the challenge of managing one of the largest IP networks in the world, it wanted to improve service quality and keep MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) low. To do so, Softbank BB realised that it was imperative to revamp its IT infrastructure for broadband network operation management, to allow it to adapt flexibly to expanding networks and services. With HP OpenView in place, SoftBank BB has succeeded in significantly reducing its incidences of network failures.
