Overview Partesa was founded in 1989 by Heineken Italy with the purpose of creating a nationwide network of food and beverage distributors. Partesa wanted to create an efficient distribution network for the Heineken brand and develop local markets by supplying logistic, human resources and administrative services. They wanted to create business intelligence tools to monitor and understand customer purchasing habits. The company implemented business intelligence system that supplies up-to-date information about sales and product penetration and created market monitoring system to capture information at each point of sale and develop specific sales and marketing strategies and programs. They consolidated information in a single Oracle Database, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
