HP Supports a Unique Record of Our Changing World

Overview The growth and development of cities is one of the most significant processes to affect human society over the past century, moving from a mainly rural society to an urbanised one. International publisher Cities500 wanted to document this with a series of high quality books featuring photography and narrative and entitled 21st Century Cities. It needed a partner that had the vision to support the book, and also the print technology to help produce it. Cities500 entered successful discussions for this trail-blazing joint publishing project with HP. Cities500 used HP DeskJet 1220c and HP Deskjet 1280 printers for pre-press work. It also used an HP ScanJet 4370 for scanning old images into its books.
