Priority Health is a non-profit healthcare provider that began operations serving Western Michigan in 1986. Today it offers a variety of HMO, PPO, POS, ASO, HSA, HRA, Medicaid and Medicare plans. More than 6,800 employers offer Priority Health coverage to more than 450,000 members. The Priority Health needed to provide highly available, high-performance storage for database replication, enable flexible storage allocation, and provide capacity for rapid growth as needed. Priority Health implemented an HP StorageWorks Disk Array XP256 to serve the data warehouse, adding capacity and providing a scalable storage solution, while increasing performance and simplifying management.
