Garderos Case Study: Telenet

Overview Telenet is one of the largest providers of broadband cable services in Belgium. Telenet was convinced of the need of business travelers to have access to Internet, corporate Intranet and email while out and about. Thus, the company extended its core business, setting up so-called "Public Hotspots", places such as hotels, conference facilities, highway restaurants, or railway stations offering PWLAN services. They decided to use its cable network to provide Public Wireless LAN (PWLAN) services to business travelers. Telenet selected Garderos Software Innovations to deliver its PWLAN infrastructure software.
