Garderos Case Study: The Leipzig Arena
Overview The Leipzig Arena is one of Germany's most modern halls for cultural and athletic events. To strengthen its competitive position, ZSL, the operating company of Arena Leipzig, is enhancing its service offering using state-of-the-art technology. Since September 2003, organizers and visitors have been able to take advantage of wireless (WLAN) and wired (LAN) high-speed Internet access. The new service was planned and implemented in a collaborative effort that included IT service provider TeraGate AG, HLkomm Telekommunikations GmbH and Garderos Software Innovations GmbH providing the administration and accounting software.
