Garderos Case Study: Vodafone Group
Overview Vodafone Group's Vision is "To be the world leader in mobile communications, enriching customers' lives, helping individuals, businesses and communities to be more connected in a mobile world". To achieve its corporate vision Vodafone decided to extend its service portfolio by offering state-of-the-art PWLAN services. They realized that it would need a PWLAN infrastructure software architecture that could, above all, easily integrate into its legacy systems and allow international roaming with Vodafone subsidiaries. Early 2004, the Garderos PWLAN Operational Support System (OSS) was selected, to facilitate the fast and secure setup and operation of PWLAN networks in Greece.
