Bluesocket Case Study: Good Hope Hospital

Overview Good Hope is a large hospital situated in Sutton Coldfield in the West Midlands, serving a population covering north east Birmingham, areas of Walsall, as well as south east Staffordshire. When the hospital was looking for a flexible and secure wireless network that would enable seamless roaming for the nursing staff and consultants, it turned to Mayflex for the solution. Mayflex demonstrated its Planet and Bluesocket products and invited Good Hope to visit the company and discuss things further. The solution consisted of five Planet WAP 1965 wireless access points with power over Ethernet and one Bluesocket WG-1000 wireless gateway.
