Orlando Policy Management: "On the Move with Orlando Public Safety"
Overview The City of Orlando's Technology Management Division deployed NetMotion Wireless' Mobility XE Mobile VPN so that their wireless (GPRS) clients could have full access to all of their network resources. The City found that in addition to providing mobile workers with real-time access to critical information from virtually anywhere, Mobility XE also sustained application and VPN sessions through coverage gaps, enabled applications to work wirelessly without modification and delivered higher data and network security. With Mobility XE Policy Management, the City can now control application and network access at the user-level by application, interface speed, network name, IP address, OS version, date or time.
