The NemeriX team's new product, code named the NJ1030, represents a breakthrough in GPS technology. The NJ1030 is the world's lowest power GPS baseband processor. It has broken the 25mWatt power consumption barrier, enabling a slew of new GPS applications in mobile handsets and battery-powered devices. NemeriX was scheduled to announce the NJ1030 at a key industry tradeshow, ION 2003. To meet this goal and its aggressive timeline, they would need to partner with outside services for several elements of the project, including physical design, tape out, and supply chain management.
