Overview A leading technology university, Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana views wireless as an essential requirement and learning tool with growing importance. Implementing a wireless network helps attract a growing population of tech-savvy students. The university's students returned to an upgraded campus when they started classes in the 2003 autumn semester. During the summer the IT team completed the implementation of a campus-wide wireless local area network (WLAN).
