MSDN Webcast: Introducing Web Services in SQL Server 2005 (Level 200)

Overview Using Microsoft SQLXML 3.0, developers have been able to expose Microsoft SQL Server data directly as a Web service. Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Beta 2 builds on this functionality by supporting Extensible Markup Language (XML) as a first-class data type. It also provides a new query language for XML documents and allows you to perform in-place modifications. This webcast introduces the new Web service features in SQL Server 2005 and explains how you can use SQL Server with Microsoft Windows Server 2003 as a Web service provider, without having to use Internet Information Services.
