StorageTek's Professional Services Team Helps the Jockey Club Rein in Its Storage Infrastructure

Overview Established over 100 years ago, The Hong Kong Jockey Club is one of the world's largest and most respected horse racing clubs. Facing the challenge of managing about 120 terabytes of disk storage and 90 terabytes of tape storage, a data growth rate of over 30 percent per year and increasing pressure to reduce IT expenses, the Jockey Club decided to review its storage allocation strategy with an eye to improving the cost-efficiency of its infrastructure.
