Overview Tivoli Intelligent Orchestrator (TIO) and Tivoli Provisioning Manager (TPM) implement automated policy-based management of data centre resources, allowing customer adoption of IBM's on demand strategy within the data centre. Infrastructure metrics are monitored, and analysed against defined levels of demand and resource requirements - if adjustments are required to the levels of infrastructure resources, these can be made automatically. Automation extends to detailed and high-level operations processes, and is made easier for customers by the availability of a library of resources that all customers can use to facilitate handling of all well-known infrastructure elements.
