Nortel Networks Case Study: RMIT International University

Overview RMIT International University Vietnam is the first international university to open a campus in Vietnam. In order to provide the highest levels of network performance, security, flexibility and reliability on its campuses to enable the university to continue to develop as a true educational centre of excellence in Vietnam, RMIT Vietnam wished to deploy an IT infrastructure upgrade based on Nortel solutions at its new Ho Chi Minh city campus. Staff and students can now access a variety of academic on-line educational applications and email facilities, share files, use multimedia collaborative products (both PC and Apple platforms) and also access the Internet in a secure manner throughout the new campus in both indoor and outdoor locations.
