Mobile Carrier Revs Up to Maximize New Data Service Revenues With HP OpenView Internet Usage Manager

Overview KTF needed to upgrade its billing and mediation system to ensure that it was prepared to maximize the revenue from the next-generation services it expected to roll out in the South Korean market. KTF implemented the HP OpenView Internet Usage Manager Solution, a flexible, scalable platform for deploying convergent mediation and usage management solutions. It was noted that the carrier expected to improve its operational efficiency in monitoring and error handling for the real-time collection of billing data, while another major business purpose was to realize the solution's W-CDMA billing function.
