International Network Services Case Study: Mary Kay

Overview Mary Kay, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, is the best-selling brand of facial skin care and color cosmetics in the United States with more than 500,000 independent. Mary Kay recognized the need to transition from a network-enabled company into a true network-centric company - one that uses the Internet and Web-based commerce as platforms from which to conduct day-to-day business. Mary Kay engaged Predictive Systems (now a wholly owned subsidiary of International Network Services) to conduct a network management assessment for Atlas, with a special focus on determining areas of risk and vulnerability to the application, network infrastructure, and the company's business goals.
