International Network Services Case Study: Ruder Finn and Ready.gov

Overview The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) launched a $100 million campaign to educate citizens of the United States on terrorism preparation strategies. In addition to radio and print ads, direct mail, and outdoor advertisements, the primary communication vehicle of the campaign was the Ready.gov website. Ruder Finn was responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining the Ready.gov site, which included identifying the most effective and secure solution for hosting the content. Ruder Finn sought a vendor that could not only address the requirements, but do so by the target deadline that was quickly approaching. International Network Services (INS) was chosen to support the Ready.gov initiative due to its expertise in security, network performance, and project management.
