International Network Services Case Study: California Department of Water Resources

Overview The State of California Department of Water Resources, which manages most of the state's water resources development programs, including flood management, dam safety, water facility development, and water transport, planned an implementation of Exchange 2000 as the standard messaging system for its organization. The Division of Technology Services in the state's Department of Water Resources (DWR) initiated a project to deploy Exchange 2000 to the department's 3,000 employees. In order to ensure a successful implementation that met the department's aggressive schedule and fit in with the corporate culture, DWR chose International Network Services (INS) as its partner for the deployment.
