International Network Services Case Study: California Department of Health Services

Overview The mission of the California Department of Health Services (DHS) is to protect and improve the health of all Californians. The organization had received funding to move to a central location, with four multi-story buildings, in downtown Sacramento. In addition to upgrading its facilities, the department planned to move to a new network with a fiber backbone. The client recognized the magnitude of the project and the need to identify a partner with the necessary skills to make the network upgrade a success. INS worked closely with the Department of Health Services to plan, design, install, and configure its Cisco-based network.
