Overview The software company was running Exchange 5.5 on Windows NT 4.0. Due to the scheduled end-of-life of Microsoft support for these platforms, the organization was in the process of migrating its Active Directory (AD) structure and also needed to begin planning to upgrade its messaging infrastructure from Exchange 5.5 to 2003. The IT team decided to engage a consulting organization with proven experience performing Exchange 5.5 to 2003 upgrades to assist with the planning, design, and testing of the solution. The software company selected INS to assist with the Exchange 2003 planning, design, and testing.
