Overview SAS ETLQ (which SAS describes as "ETL to the power of Q") provides data analysis and profiling, data cleansing, and ETL (extract, transform and load) capabilities based on a shared metadata repository. In practice, SAS ETLQ combines the ETL offering that SAS used to provide within what was the Warehouse Administrator product (which is why the company is not well known as an ETL vendor), together with the data quality software that is provided by its DataFlux subsidiary. The latter has added data profiling and analysis capability in its most recent release, which is why it can now be regarded as a true data quality provider rather than just as a data cleansing vendor. All of this capability is embedded with SAS ETLQ.
