New York City Saves Money, Increases Efficiency, Improves Customer Convenience: Solution From IBM and Infocorp Provides Flexibility in Collecting Fines and Taxes

Overview New York City wanted to make it easier and faster for residents to pay their taxes, traffic tickets and other bills. And, it wanted to improve how it manages the flow of billions of dollars for the city. IBM and Infocorp came up with Infocorp's Access2Gov electronic cashiering and revenue management system, working with IBM DB2 Universal Database and IBM WebSphere MQ, running on IBM AIX RS/6000 servers. This resulted into Customer convenience, improved tracking of revenue, cost savings, bills paid quicker.
