Priority Healthcare Migrates Oracle CRM Solution to IBM eServer xSeries and Linux

Overview Priority Healthcare Corporation supplies specialty drugs and medical equipment to hospitals, clinics and other healthcare institutions. Priority Healthcare prides itself on excellent customer service, whether the customer is an individual patient or a doctor's office, clinic or hospital buying because of the ease of ordering. For this reason, they decided to standardize call centers from a number of separate business divisions onto a common IT platform including a single customer relationship management (CRM) solution as well as servers, databases and applications. To create the solution, Priority Healthcare chose Oracle 9i database, Real Application Clusters (RAC), and Oracle E-Business Suite, which includes CRM, Distribution and Financials.
