SAP Streamlines Warehouse Operations for Orica Consumer Products
Overview Orica Consumer Products manufactures and markets paints and stains, texture coatings, powder coatings, paint, preparation products, car care and lawn and garden products. Keen to improve efficiency at its five Dulux paint distribution centres, the company realised changes needed to be made to operational systems. Orica Consumer Products conducted a detailed review of SAP's 4.7 WMS against their business processes and confirmed a 'good fit' existed. They then reviewed the Total Cost of Operating other major software offerings for its warehouse management solution, to confirm that SAP offered the best business case. In the end they found that SAP's Warehouse Management solution with RF capability contained all the functionality they required.
