Dell Case Study: BSI Group
Overview The British Standards Institution (BSI) employs over 4,200 people world-wide and is celebrating its centenary year in 2001. The company recognised that the key to keeping their IT resources fresh lays in creating a lifecycle programme that was adaptable enough to meet their changing needs. Leasing was the obvious solution. Rising to the challenge, Dell Computer Corporation with Dell Financial Services not only presented a unified solution that met the terms of the tender, but won a contract to supply and finance computer equipment for BSI's UK divisions on three year leases.
