IMPSAT was created in Argentina 14 years ago, with the goal of offering telecommunications services to the corporate market. The company needed a powerful security solution infrastructure on which to base its offerings. IMPSAT relied on many ISS products, including the Proventia M50, M30 and M10 integrated security appliances, the Proventia G100 and G200 intrusion prevention appliances, the Internet Scanner vulnerability assessment application, SiteProtector centralized management system and SecurityFusion module.
