The Radio Communication Tester R&S CMU200 can be used to perform fast and accurate measurements of different standards such as GSM, IS-136, AMPS, CDMA, cdma2000, 1xEVDO, WCDMA and Bluetooth. One aspect of GSM are the packet-oriented services GPRS and EGPRS. This paper describes how to use CMUgo, a Windows application for remote control of the R&S CMU200 and for measuring and testing (E)GPRS aspects of mobile phones in compliance with the GSM standard.
