GSM Transceiver Measurements

Overview In this paper, properties of GSM Mobile Stations (MS) are investigated. The goal is to learn the basics of a GSM transceiver and to investigate its error performance by measurements. The tester performs measurements by emulating the radio interface of the GSM system, i.e. the MS sees the tester as an ordinary base station (BTS).
