This paper details the technical capacity of current and planned future GSM networks to supply real time per call tariff information (RT tariff information) for international roaming. It also explains the operational and commercial implications which would result from implementation of this functionality. In order to display tariff information in real time whilst roaming, the visited network needs to obtain price information from the service provider of that customer in its home country.
