Overview EDS PLM Solutions is a division of EDS, a global information technology services company that was founded in 1962 as Electronic Data Systems. EDS PLM wanted a reporting tool that provided flexibility and could also be used for consolidations and ad-hoc analysis. The combination of Hyperion Essbase and arcplan dynaSight provided the functionality to meet EDS PLM's enhancement goals. Hyperion consistently met the company's goals and provided the capability to create alternative structures, which enabled the company to slice data in various ways across the organizations.
