NetSuite Case Study: Custer Battles

Overview A two-year old company when it began to provide security in Iraq, Custer Battles knew full well the challenges it would face: patchy infrastructure, dangerous conditions, fighting and insurgent violence. With operations in some of the world's most underdeveloped - not to mention dangerous locales, Custer Battles needed an Internet-based system to track its corporate activities in real-time. At the time, Custer Battles was using QuickBooks to manage its financials and keep track of its equipment and employees, and e-mail to manage sales and marketing. By implementing NetSuite, Custer Battles avoided a multi-million dollar expenditure: building a dedicated satellite line to power its Iraq operations.
