Overview Return on investment ("ROI") is a well-known calculation that reveals the economic business case for making an investment over a particular time period. ROI can be quantitative, or qualitative. Both are important to communicate to a prospect when trying to close a sale. The ROI calculator will determine the degree to which the implementation of Best Software's MAS 90, MAS 200 and MAS 500 can result in a net positive cash flow. In other words, if one takes the total cost of ownership associated with a prospect's potential purchase of the Best system, and divide that by the total savings due to implementation, the result is the ROI in percent.
