Luton Borough Council Takes a Consolidated Approach to Storage
Overview Luton Borough Council (LBC) wanted to increase the availability of its services on the Internet and reduce its ongoing IT costs. To cater for this it needed to expand and upgrade its storage infrastructure. After a competitive tender process LBC selected Dell Professional Services to deliver the hardware and manage the installation. Dell worked with its strategic partner Posetiv, to ensure the success of the project. Since implementing the Dell solution, availability of council services have now increased by 70 per cent and the back-up time reduced by 50 per cent.
