The Uelzena eG Group produces specialist dry goods and part-baked products for the food industry, as well as butter fats for the baking and confectionery sectors, at its location in Uelzen, Germany. Uelzena eG needed to upgrade its legacy proprietary technology to create a cost-effective, highly available infrastructure. Dell and PSH IT Projekte Systeme Hosting GmbH (PSH) supported Uelzena eG's migration of its SAP R/3 solution from a Unix environment to Windows 2000. This new infrastructure is powered by Dell 4600 servers.
