Overview Belgium-based De Smet Engineers & Contractors (DSEC) was sharing an ICT platform with another affiliate from the De Smet Group. DSEC planned to move offices in September 2004 but before it could do this it needed to migrate from its existing Microsoft Windows NT 4 environment and buy a range of cost-effective and reliable hardware. DSEC was looking for a reliable strategic partner and chose Dell and Dell Professional Services to migrate the existing infrastructure to a Microsoft Windows Server 2003.
