As the third-largest cable TV provider in the nation, Cox Communications, Inc., is well known for its dependable, high-capacity broadband delivery network. The Cox Las Vegas IT department faced the unappealing possibility of replacing the array of aging, five-year-old mobile devices used by its FSRs to open, record, and close work orders. The Cox Las Vegas IT team began an investigation of alternative mobile computing solutions.
