Overview
In this paper Net Report examines the impact of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act along with related SEC Rules on IT's role in ensuring that company records, and the systems that create and store those records, are controlled and managed in a compliant manner. Net Report analyzes the following frameworks in the aim of ensuring both broad and in-depth compliance with Sarbanes Oxley: PCAOB (Auditing Standards No. 2), SEC 1934, the Turnbull Report published by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. COSO, CoBiT, ISO/IEC 17799. Lastly the paper will present Net Report's Internal IT Control Compliance Solution which meet the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley Sections 103(a)(2)(iii), 302, 404, 409, 802 and 1102 along with related standards and frameworks: SEC Rules, PCAOB Auditing Standards No. 2, the Turnbull Report, COSO, CoBiT and ISO/IEC 17799.
